Me

Me

A camera found me before ambition did. I was fourteen, pointing it at everything, understanding nothing.

That instinct never really upgraded — just got better aim.

I don't chase the hero shot. I chase the accident next to it: the stranger who wandered into frame and made it better, the shadow that got the lighting more right than the flash did, the five seconds after everyone stopped posing.

Austria's where I started — first with places, then with the people inside them. Events, restaurants, portraits, cities I didn't grow up in. Different subjects, same obsession: the moment before or after the one you were supposed to get.

Most photographers work the list. I work the gaps in it.

Available for the interesting ones.
